Allegria Village in Dearborn MI is looking for an experienced Resident Services Director to oversee the following departments of an 800 bed Independent Living Community:
- Life Enrichment/Activities/Wellness
- Social Services
- Concierge
- Customer Service
*MUST have 2 year or more experience working in a Senior Living Recreation department, Activity department, or comparable setting.*Resident Services Director will be the primary liaison for the resident council and will be responsible to work with our exceptional team to ensure resident needs are met all times. Our goal is to elevate the resident experience and provide daily programming that sets us apart.
Job responsibilities include:
- Ensure the building is providing non-clinical social work services to all residents who require them. RSD must develop strong relationships with preferred providers and vendor partnerships to ensure residents are receiving quality services at all times.
- Lead and direct customer service initiatives such as resident satisfaction surveys and the resident satisfaction committee.
- Develop and implement customer service training for all Allegria employees.
- Handle all resident concerns and complaints with finesse and in a caring, polite, and professional manner. Encourage a team of professionals to do the same.
- Evaluate programs to make sure the quality of programs fits the needs of all residents.
- Implement new and exciting events, trips, and programs to enhance the community experience and improve the resident quality of life.
- Provide support to essential employees such as Life Enrichment Director, Social Work Director, and concierge to ensure they have the tools they need to succeed.
